A man who had been shot stole a pickup with two children inside and drove it to Hartford Hospital, where he's listed in critical condition, according to police.
After the carjacking on Gilman Street, the suspect went into the hospital for treatment on Monday evening and the children were reunited with their family members, Hartford police said.
A second gunshot victim showed up at Hartford Hospital, and a third was being treated at St. Francis Hospital as of Monday night. Police said they believe all three people were involved in the shooting.
The carjacking suspect is listed in critical condition and the second person is stable, according to police. The condition of the patient at St. Francis has not been released.
Authorities have not identified any of the people involved or disclosed details of the incident.
The Hartford Police Department Major Crimes Division is investigating.
