A 23-year-old Connecticut man who will be sentenced on Tuesday could see decades in prison after a jury convicted him of murder, robbery and conspiracy.
The Hartford Courant reports a Superior Court jury returned its verdict last month against Tyquan Turner, who has been in jail since 2013.
Turner was acquitted in the killing of 25-year-old Miguel Rodriguez in July 2013, but the felony murder conviction carries the same penalty.
After Rodriguez was shot, his attackers took a custom-made gold chain and medallion from his neck which featured the Disney character Scrooge McDuck.
Lorenza Christian, 23, is also charged in Rodriguez's killing. He's awaiting trial.
Turner's sentencing is scheduled for today.
