Orange Police Investigate Identity Theft Case

Police in Orange are trying to identify the person behind an identity-theft case and they are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman from surveillance footage.

A woman found someone else’s wallet on July 18 and used the credit cards inside it at Target and Lowe's stores in town, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the woman or her vehicle should call Office William Edwards at 203-891-2130, extension 415 or email him at wedwards@orange-ct.gov.

Police urge that any information you might have, no matter how insignificant it seems, might be able to help solve the case.
