A 50-year-old East Haven man is at Yale-New Haven Hospital to be treated for serious injuries after being struck by a car early Friday morning.
Michael Solinini was struck while trying to cross Hemingway Avenue and Tyler Street around 5:30 a.m. He was crossing in an area with no crosswalk, police said.
Solinini's injuries are not beleived to be life-threatening.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police said. They are investigating the crash.
