Police are investigating after a man was shot in Groton Sunday afternoon.
The incident happened at approximately 3:08 p.m. in a heavily populated residential area in the Groton Bank section of the city.
The man who was shot is currently being treated at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital in New London. His condition is unknown at this time.
Police are looking for a newer silver car, possibly a Volkswagen, occupied by three men, one with a whity hoodie, regarding their involvement in the incident.
No other information was immediately available.
