A man who was found unconscious in a car in Plainfield has died and police are investigating his death.
Police said a customer at Sam's Food Mart on Norwich Road in Plainfield called police at 7:48 p.m. about an unconscious man who was inside of his vehicle.
Members of the Plainfield police and fire departments and American Legion Ambulance responded and found a 60-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive.
Medical personnel conducted CPR and the man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
A medical examiner investigator responded to the scene and an autopsy will be conducted.
It’s not clear how long the man had been unconscious in the vehicle.
