Early Saturday morning, a man who implied he had a handgun robbed the Xtra Mart, at 1302 Hartford Turnpike in Vernon. On Monday, police released images from the store surveillance cameras in hopes of finding him.
The robbery happened at 2:15 a.m. and the robber ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The clerk was not hurt.
Police said the robber is thin and around 5-feet-8 to 5-feet-11. He was wearing a red jacket and a green “Celtics” baseball hat.
