Manchester police are currently undergoing an investigation into to narcotics and firearm related crimes they announced Thursday.
This morning, Manchester Police Department, Capitol Region Emergency Services Team (CREST), and East Central Narcotics Task Force executed search warrants for two rooms at the Hawthorne Suites on 191 Spencer Street.

According to officers, both narcotics and firearms were taken from the scene and two individuals were arrested.
During the investigation, a white Audi SQ5, which was later confirmed to be stolen out of Tolland, hit a South Windsor officer’s police cruiser and fled the scene onto Spencer Street towards East Hartford.

A white Jeep Cherokee also fled the scene and followed the Audi.
According to police, officers have responded to the area 140 times in the past year for incidents involving narcotics, noise complaints, thefts, burglaries, weapons and other offenses.
