Meriden police are investigating after there were reports of shots fired early Saturday morning.
Officers were called to Grove Street and Foster Street around 4:25 a.m. after getting multiple 911 calls.
Callers reported hearing multiple gunshots fired in the immediate area, police said.
When officers arrived, they said they found several shell casings.
Authorities said they cannot confirm if anyone or anything was struck and there have been no victims identified at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
