Strong winds have brought down power lines for the third day in a row and that has led to road closures in Portland and Bloomfield.
Parts of Route 17 in Portland will be closed for several hours after strong winds brought down power lines. It is closed at Bartlett Street as well as Route 17A, and a pole will need to be repaired.
In Bloomfield, Mountain Road is closed between Watkins and Simsbury roads, according to police.
