Crews from several towns are responding to a fire on Whitney Drive in Meriden that sent two people to the hospital, according to officials.
According to Meriden Fire Chief Kenneth Morgan, Middletown, Wallingford and Southington crews are providing mutual aid.
Two people have been transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation, officials said.
