Firefighters responded to a fire at a house on Reservoir Road in Newington on Tuesday morning, the road is closed and one firefighter suffered a minor injury, according to the fire chief.
Firefighters received the call at 7:25 a.m. and the family was out of the house when they arrived.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury and paramedics evaluated him at the scene, fire officials said. No residents of the house were injured.
Police said the road remains closed and emergency crews are at the scene.

Residents are asked to avoid the area and delays should be anticipated, extending onto Fenn Road.
