The Taste of Hartford is back by popular demand, and sticking around longer than expected.
For those of you who couldn’t get enough, it’s time to belly up for more! Thirty-two Hartford restaurants have extended their three-course menu specials for $20.09 for one additional week, through Sunday, Aug. 9.
Steve Abrams, owner of Max Downtown on Asylum Street, said increased mid-week traffic at participating restaurants made the decision to extend The Taste of Hartford an easy one.
“We’re all excited that diners will have another full week to take advantage of the Taste of Hartford specials,” he said.
You can find a wide variety of cuisine at the 32 restaurants, including traditional choices like steak and seafood dishes to exotic and ethnic pairings and specialty desserts.
This year, restaurant owners have pledged a portion of the proceeds from each Taste dinner to the Arts Council’s United Arts Campaign, said Kate Bolduc, Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Hartford Arts Council.
“It’s a way for the restaurants to support the theaters, museums, historic sites, festivals and other cultural organizations that draw people to Hartford and into their businesses,” she said.
In addition, Taste diners can enter for a chance to win dinner for two for a year from participating restaurants.
