A 14-year-old boy was badly burned in a fire in Bristol Friday.
Firefighters and police officers arrived at 68 South Street Extension around 3 p.m. to find a garage engulfed in flames, according to police. They found the teenager in the front yard with severe burns to his legs, police said.
The boy was taken to the Bridgeport Hospital burn unit where he was listed in stable condition Friday evening. The garage was heavily damaged by the fire.
Bristol police were investigating the cause of the blaze.
