Troopers Avoid ‘Udder Disaster' in North Stonington

Cows on a road in Connecticut
Connecticut State Police

State troopers had what they jokingly called a “high steaks” pursuit in North Stonington when cows held up traffic Friday morning.

It happened on Route 184 around 6 a.m., as the cows were slowly moo-ving along for a sunrise stroll.

With help from local ranchers, troopers were able to get the cows to safety so they could mosey on home.
