Two Occupied Norwalk Homes Struck in Separate Shootings

Gunshots struck two occupied homes in Norwalk during two separate shootings that happened early Sunday morning.

Multiple people called 911 to report hearing gunshots fired on Spring Hill Avenue in Norwalk at 3:07 a.m. on Sunday and then Glasser Street at 3:55 a.m.

Police first responded to Spring Hill Avenue and discovered that several rounds were fired. Bullets struck a multi-family home at 11 Spring Hill Avenue while the residents were home. Police said no one was injured.

Then after 911 callers reported gunfire on Glasser Street just under an hour later, police responded to that area. An occupied home located at 39 Glasser Street was hit by gunfire after multiple rounds of shots were fired, police said. No one was injured in the second shooting.

Detectives responded to both scenes and police established perimeters around the crime scenes, collected evidence and searched the neighborhoods, police said.

Norwalk detectives continue to investigate both incidents Sunday in the daylight.

No suspects have been identified at this time.
