Woman Accused of Using Stun Gun on Store Employee During Shoplifting Incident in Milford

Milford Police have arrested a woman who is accused of using a stun gun on an employee during a shoplifting incident on Friday.

Officers were called to the Connecticut Post Mall on Boston Post Road around 2 p.m. after getting a report of a shoplifter who was attempting to flee from a loss prevention agent at Boscov's.

An investigation led to the arrest of 39-year-old Tamara Kisic, of Bridgeport, according to police.

Kisic is accused of taking $190 worth of merchandise from the store without paying. She then used a stun gun on the loss prevention agent while she was attempting to avoid being apprehended, police said.

Kisic is facing charges including robbery, larceny, assault and breach of peace. She was held on $7,500 bond.
