Stratford police responded to reports of a stabbing minutes from midnight on Christmas Eve. When officers arrived they determinted that a woman had arrived at the residence, punched another woman and stabbed a man in the chest, police said.
Karalyn Mikucionis, 27, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, third-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct. Mikucionis was also charged with risk of injury to a minor because there was a child present in the residence but unharmed, police said.
Mikucionis is being held on a $100,000 bond.
