West Hartford police made a pretty unusual arrest at Price Rite in West Hartford.
Della Flintroy, 45, of Hartford is accused of concealing $15.29 worth of pork shoulder and attempting to leave the store with it, police said.
The Hartford Courant reports that Flintroy stuffed a 12-pound piece of meat into her purse.
When she hiked the heavy purse onto her shoulder, a PriceRite employee saw the meat, according to the Courant.
Police made the arrest on Dec. 6, at 10:49 a.m.
