An Ansonia woman was arrested in Seymour on Tuesday afternoon after police say she went to a skate park for a sexual encounter with a teen and fondled another child.
According to police, Jennifer Johnson, 37, went to Seymour Skate Park at the community center around 4 p.m. on Tuesday for a sexual encounter with a 16-year-old boy, and made inappropriate comments and sexual innuendos to several teenagers in the skate park when she couldn’t find him.
Then, according to police, she fondled a teen.
That’s when someone called police and officers arrived to find Johnson, sitting in a vehicle with a girl who appeared nervous, police said.
Officers removed the girl from the vehicle and took Johnson into custody.
She has been charged her with five counts of risk of injury to a minor, one count of fourth-degree sexual assault, one count of second-degree criminal attempt to commit sexual assault in the second degree and one count of second-degree breach of peace.
Johnson was unable to post a $100,000 bond and was held until she was arraigned Wednesday morning at the Derby Superior Court.
