Hillary Clinton's national lead over Donald Trump remains steady at 6 points, as the campaigns head into a final two-month stretch of the presidential race, according to the latest NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll.

Clinton has 48 percent support while Trump maintains 42 percent — the same margin as last week.

The poll was conducted online from Aug. 29 through Sept. 4 among registered voters. In a four-way general election match-up that also includes Gary Johnson and Jill Stein, Clinton leads Trump by four points, also unchanged from last week.
