Hundreds of Syrians Flee Homs During Ceasefire

United Nations officials were greeted by hundreds of hungry and disheveled men, women and children Tuesday as they helped evacuate the Syrian city of Homs. People emerged from the ruined town after a temporary "humanitarian pause." The U.N.-brokered ceasefire has allowed aid to get into the Old City of Homs, which has been besieged by President Bashar al-Assad's forces for almost two years.
