College Students Developing Nail Polish That Can Detect Date Rape Drugs

Four North Carolina State University students are developing a nail polish that will change color when it comes in contact with date rape drugs, TODAY reported. The four male entrepreneurs won an $11,000 prize from their school to develop "Undercover Colors," which will detect any odorless, colorless drug compounds when a woman dips her fingers in her drink. The school has provided them a lab to continue experimenting. It is not clear when the nail polish will be available for sale.
