Who does not love grilled cheese? Especially when it is free.

It’s National Grilled Cheese Month and you can celebrate with a free sandwich this weekend!

Cheeseboy at the Connecticut Post Mall in Milford will give away a free Cheeseboy Classic sandwich on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The sandwich includes American cheese on all-natural Italian bread.

The idea for Cheeseboy was actually born right here in Connecticut.

While founder Michael Inwald was an MBA candidate at the Yale School of Management, he envisioned a grilled cheese restaurant concept. In the summer of 2009, he began testing the idea at fairs throughout the state and took a leave of absence from school later that year to open the Milford location.

Now, there are additional Cheeseboy locations in Boston and Braintree, Massachusetts.

Inwald plans to expand the chain to several other locations in the Northeast this year.
