Hebron Woman Killed in Glastonbury Crash

    A woman was killed in this crash in Glastonbury.

    A woman was killed in a two-car crash on Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury on Tuesday afternoon. 

    Rose Mastrone, 86, of Hebron crossed the center line around 2:30 p.m. and hit a car driven by a 49-year-old Manchester woman, police said.

    Mastrone died at the scene. The other driver was rushed by ambulance to Hartford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. 

    The road, also known as Route 94, was closed between Birch Mountain Road and Weir Street, for several hours.

    Glastonbury Police ask if you witnessed the crash to give them a call.
