Chilly Temperatures Move Through the State

NBC Connecticut first alert meteorologists are tracking a strong cold front moving in the state.

Temperatures have been well above average over the last few days. Some towns got close to 80 degrees. The average high temperature should be closer to 60.

Chilly conditions are expected to continue as we head into the morning. Temperatures will be in the low to middle 30's on the shoreline and mid-30's to 40's inland. Towns in Litchfield County could even reach lows in the upper 20's.

Tomorrow will feature high temperatures in the upper 40's and lower 50's.
