Bridgeport Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash on I-95


    A Brtidgeport man was killed in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 95 on Tuesday morning.

    A 37-year-old Bridgeport man has died after two motorcycles crashed on Interstate 95 in Branford around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, according to state police.

    Police said Kirk Orlando Valentine, 37, was pronounced dead at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

    He was traveling on I-95 North near exit 54 and slowed his bike quickly just before the crash, according to state police.

    Valentine and the other motorcyclist, Royce Burns Jr., 24, of West Haven, lost control of their motorcycles and ambulances transported them from the scene.

    Burns’ injuries were not life-threatening, according to state police.

    No charges have been filed. Police are investigating.
