Police in Darien are investigating after a 45-year-old woman drowned in her pool on the Fourth of July.
The woman’s husband found her in their in-ground pool just after 10 a.m. on Wednesday, police said.
Responding officers performed CPR and the woman was transported to Stamford Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Police have not released the woman’s name because family is being notified.
The drowning appears to be accidental, according to police.
