Firefighters have extinguished a blaze at 29 Bouldercrest Lane in Vernon this morning.

Fire broke out at the raised ranch home around 4 a.m. and is now out.

Two people were inside of the home when fire broke out and were able to get out safely.

No one was hurt and neighbors said the pets also made it out safely

Part of the home appears to be under construction, but it is not clear if that was a factor.

Firefighters said most of the fire was contained to the roof and they were able to put the flames out quickly.

Officials are still trying to determine the cause.
