Judge to Hear Arguments in Aaron Hernandez Case

A judge in Fall River Superior Court in Massachusetts is expected to hear arguments tomorrow on a motion Aaron Hernandez’s lawyers filed to suppress evidence in his murder trial.

The Bristol, Connecticut native and former New England Patriots player is awaiting trial in the 2013 killing of semi-professional football player Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez's girlfriend.

A jogger running through an industrial park about a mile from Hernandez’s home found the body on June 17, 2013.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty in Lloyd's killing. His trial in the case is scheduled for October.

Hernandez is also charged in a 2012 double homicide of Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado in Boston.

Prosecutors said Hernandez shot and killed the two men after one of them apparently spilled a drink on him in a Boston nightclub.

Hernandez and a friend found the men waiting in their car at a red light and Hernandez allegedly fired at least five shots into the car, killing the two men and injuring a third, according to prosecutors.
