Man Stabbed During Robbery Attempt in Bridgeport

Bridgeport police are investigating after a 34-year-old man was stabbed in the leg during a robbery attempt Sunday night.

According to police, the victim was confronted by two masked men while walking on Pembroke Street in Bridgeport. The men demanded money, and stabbed the victim in the thigh when he told them he didn’t have any.

The victim ran to a friend’s house and was taken to the hospital.

It’s not clear if police are following leads or have identified any suspects.
