Pedestrian Hit on I-95 in Old Lyme

All lanes of I-95 in Old Lyme are open again after a pedestrian was hit on Saturday morning.

Troopers say they were called to I-95 northbound at exit 70 for reports of a box truck colliding with a pedestrian around 6:42 a.m.

When they got there, they say a serious injury was reported and Life Star was requested. The driver of the box truck continued driving, but has been stopped, police say.

While investigating, troopers say some lanes were closed, but have since reopened.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
