State police are investigating in Andover after two employees of the 7-Eleven at 380 Route 6 were held up at gunpoint around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

A female employee who was inside the store at the time of the robbery was visibly shaken up as she described the ordeal.

The robber charged into the store, pointed a gun at her and a male worker and stole money out of two cash registers, she said.

The robber was wearing a mask or a bandana to cover his face, so the 7-Eleven employees weren’t able to get a good look at him.

State police detectives spent about four hours collecting evidence and said surveillance video will help them identify the suspect.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

The man is described as 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-8, weighing around 145 pounds.

If you have any information about the crime, call state police at 860-537-7500 or 860 537-7522.
