A 57-year-old man is dead after a crash in Hartford early Monday morning.
Officers responded to the 200 block of Blue Hills Avenue at 1:27 a.m. after receiving reports of a crash and found a blue 2011 Honda Civic that had crashed into a tree on the front lawn of 295 Blue Hills Ave.
Crews at the scene provided medical aid but the driver, a 57-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to police.
They said no one else was in the vehicle.
This is the 10th fatal crash in Hartford this year and the 11th traffic fatality, according to police.
The Crime Scene Division is investigating and they ask any witnesses to call Sergeant Jason Lee at 860-757-4341.
