Mystic's Matt Harvey Fakes Out Mets Fans on Fallon

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Mets pitcher Matt Harvey, a Mystic native, interviewed ususpecting fans for a segment on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Monday.

Mets pitcher Matt Harvey, who grew up in Mystic, is the starting pitcher for the National League in Tuesday night's All-Star Game at Citi Field in New York.

He is having a break-out season with the Mets, going into the All Star break with a 7-2 record. So, you would think Harvey would be one of the most recognizable sports figures in New York, right? Well, NBC's Jimmy Fallon sent Harvey out on the street to interview Mets fans about the team and about their favorite Mets player. Not everyone realized they were talking to the real Matt Harvey.
