Tomlinson Bridge in New Haven Fixed

A bridge on Route 1 in New Haven was stuck in the raised position, creating a nightmare for Friday morning commuters. It was fixed as of 9:45 a.m.

The Tomlinson Bridge on Route 1 was stuck in the up position just after 8 a.m., leaving Interstate 95 and the Ferry Street Bridge as the available routes, according to the Department of Transportation.

DOT sent crews to the scene trying to fix the problem.
