Two of Connecticut's largest venues will play host to this year's American Idol Live tour, a super-sized affair featuring this season's top eleven contestants. The tour visits the Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard on August 25 and Mohegan Sun Arena on September 3. The format allows for a handful of singers to take the stage for solo performances while others will pitch in on duets.
This year's top acts include remaining contestants Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk, Casey Abrams, and Haley Reinhart. They'll be joined by a batch of competitors that have already been eliminated: tabloid darling Pia Toscano, Naimia Adedapo, Paul McDonald, Stefano Langone and Thai Megia. Ticket details and pricing have not been revealed. However, tickets for most of the tour's dates go on sale May 15 and the average ticket price is around $45-$60.
