What You're Doing Tonight: May 27

Tired of all the rock, rap and bubble gum pop that's dominating the radio-waves these days?

Well, buckle-up, because we're taking you on a musical journey tonight.

Our first stop is in Ridgefield, where Café Musette will challenge your musical IQ at Luc's Cafe & Restaurant.

It'll be an evening of gypsy swing, featuring the music of Django Reinhart (a gypsy guitarist from the 1930s).

Formed in Bethel in 1996, Café Musette offers a unique musical experience.  And tonight, they'll be accompanied by chanteuse Noreen Mola.

How bout a little Motown to get you on the dance floor? Dr. K's Motown Revue is performing at the Mohegan Sun Wolf Den.

This band will take you on a journey of the golden days of Motown, sure to get you singing along.

The fun starts at 7 p.m., but you must be 21 or older (sorry kiddies).

And we're sending you to East Hartford for a taste of Bluegrass. Town Mountain is performing at the East Hartford Cultural Center.

Town Mountain blends traditional bluegrass, outlaw country and pure old-time mountain music.

The show starts at 7p.m. and tickets are just $10-$15.

Now, go broaden your musical horizons. You'll be glad you did.
