A Norwalk man is charged with second-degree assault after allegedly hitting an employee of Beamers Cafe in Stamford over the head with a beer bottle.
The Stamford Advocate is reporting that Joseph Ibarrondo, 32, turned himself into police on Sunday night.
Witnesses tell police he is the one who smacked the 53-year-old strip club employee over the head with a bottle back on November 13.
According to police, the altercation started when the employee accidentally bumped into Ibarrondo while carrying glasses and a liquor bottle and asked him to step aside. Police say, in addition to witness accounts, Ibarrondo admitted to striking the man.
Ibarrondo posted a $10,000 bond. He was released on Monday and is back in court January 12.
