The Affordable Health Care Act will change health care coverage for millions of Americans when it takes effect in next year, and Connecticut has established an agency to help navigate that change.
The Connecticut Health Insurance Exchange is a quasi-public agency which is funded through federal grants. According to its website, the mission of the Exchange is "to increase the number of insured residents in our state, promote health, lower costs and eliminate health disparities."
The Exchange is hosting a series of town hall-style chats for people interested in learning more about the coming Affordable Health Care Act changes.
