A 12-year-old was struck by a car on Baldwin Street in Waterbury Thursday night.
It happened near 1052 Baldwin St. around 7:30 p.m. Police said the victim was alert and conscious and taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment of a cut on the forehead and abrasions.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
