Police received reports of juveniles shooting paintball guns in the area of Willow Street and Clermont Avenue. Offers found the suspects after searching the neighborhood, police said.

The suspects ditched the guns and took off running after they noticed the officers, authorities said.

After a foot chase, one 17-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with 31 counts of criminal mischief, breach of peace, reckless endangerment and interfering with police. He was eventually released to his mother, according to police.

A second suspect was not arrested.
