Larson, Malloy to Speak Tonight at DNC

On Tuesday night, Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro spoke at the Democratic National Convention and spoke about equal pay.

On Wednesday night, Congressman John Larson and Gov. Dannel Malloy will speak.

Larson will address the convention around 5:30 p.m. while Malloy will speak at 6:44 p.m.

Among the members of the delegation are college students from both Yale and Eastern Connecticut.
McKenzie Hyde of Colchester, a student at Eastern Connecticut State University and Nia Holston of New Haven, the youngest member of the delegation and a student at Yale, are attending. Tom Dec of Wilton is a recent graduate of Yale.

Connecticut has seven DNC members: Anthony Avallone, Nick Balletto, Ellen Camhi, Nancy DiNardo, Jose Melara, John Olsen, and Marilyn Piurek, according to a news release from Connecticut Democrats.

Former United States Senator and current Head of the MPAA Christopher Dodd is a lifetime delegate due to his tenure as DNC chair during the Clinton administration.

Malloy previously said he was "tickled pink" to speak, even though it won't be during prime time.
