The Williams School in New London will be closed Friday while crews clean up after Thursday's flash flooding, according to an announcement posted on the school website.
The private school, which serves 260 students, is located on Mohegan Avenue on the Connecticut College campus in New London.
New London was among the towns hit hardest by flash flooding when storms brought downpours to eastern Connecticut on Thursday.
