Members of a Waterbury congregation were stunned to find a swastika and the word "nazi" spray-painted on the side of their synagogue.
The graffiti was discovered at the B'Nai Shalom synagogue Tuesday morning. The vandalism may have happened Monday night, according to Capt. Christopher Corbett.
The graffiti has since been washed off the synagogue. Police are looking for suspects.
