Vermont State Police have arrested a Connecticut man after they said they found 7 pounds of marijuana in his car during a routine traffic stop.
Police said they stopped Erik Yoo, 23, of Weston, Connecticut, on Interstate 91 in Brattleboro before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
He produced a small amount of marijuana, consented to a search of his sedan and police found 2.5 grams of cocaine, several thousand dollars in the car and the 7 pounds of marijuana, police said.
Yoo was arrested on drug possession charges and held at Southern State Correctional Facility.
Bond was set at $1,500. He is due in court on June 28.
