Billboards for Suspect in Pennsylvania Trooper Ambush Crop Up in Connecticut

The search continues for the man accused of fatally shooting one Pennsylvania trooper and critically wounding another, and billboards featuring his picture have been cropping up along Connecticut highways.

Eric Matthew Frein, 31, has made his way onto the FBI’s list of 10 most wanted criminals in the wake a fatal trooper ambush on Sept. 12.

He’s accused of shooting and killing 38-year-old Corporal Dickson and critically injuring 31-year-old Trooper Alex Douglass at the Pennsylvania State Police Blooming Grove Barracks.

Frein will face state charges of homicide, homicide of a law enforcement officer and attempted murder and federal charges as a fugitive from justice, according to the FBI, which is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

According to Lehigh Valley Live, a Pennsylvania news source, Frein's picture has been plastered on hundreds of digital billboards in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware and Maryland.

Anyone with information on Frein’s whereabouts should call Pennsylvania State Police at 866-326-7256 or contact the FBI bureau in New Haven at 203-777-6311.
