Bristol Police Officer Injured in Crash While Responding to Call

A Bristol police officer and another driver were injured in a crash Monday morning and they were taken to a hospital.

Police said the officer was responding to a call when the two vehicles collided at the intersection of Middle Street and Mountain Road around 8:45 a.m.

The injuries the officer and the driver of the other vehicle sustained are not life-threatening, according to police. Both were transported for evaluation.

The police department’s traffic division is investigating and anyone with information is asked to call Sergeant Patrick Krajewski at 860- 584-3032.
