Two guys broke into 50 Cent’s Farmington manse early Tuesday morning but didn’t get far once a security guard realized they were there.
50 Cent – or Curtis Jackson – was not home at the time, and police believe the accused thieves scaled a fence and got in through an unlocked door.
A security guard called police around 6 a.m. to report a suspicious car in the driveway of 50 Poplar Hills Drive.
Another security guard told police a man was inside the sprawling mansion. Police said they found Alexander Hernandez hiding in a closet, drinking a bottle of wine he had stolen from the rap star.
Santos Padilla was hiding in another section of the house, police said.
Police did not find anyone else in the house.
Hernandez was released on a $50,000 non-surety bond and turned over to the New Britain Police Department on one of their warrants. Padilla was held on a $50,000 bond.
