Connecticut Man Dies in Florida Crash

A Danielson man was killed in a collision with an ambulance in Florida Saturday morning.

Ryan Doyle, of Danielson, Conn., and Justin Corey, of Beverly Hills, Calif., were killed, officials from the Florida Highway Patrol said. Both were 27 years old.

The crash happened at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Troopers said it appeared the driver of a Honda Civic CRX failed to stop in time at a stop sign and collided with the ambulance.

The ambulance workers tried to tend to the two men in the car, but pronounced them dead at the scene.

Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash. Heavy fog was reported at the time of the crash. No one in the ambulance was injured, and no patients were in the ambulance at the time.
